My speech

My speech is should people have pets? I chose this topic because I love pets. When I presented my speech I felt good. What I did well was saying the words from my speech. What could I have done better was looked at my class.

Should people have pets? Yes, people should have pets in their homes. As I have two dogs and the neighbours cats come over to our house. Pets come in different sizes and colours. You can have dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, birds, and mice as pets. Also some people live on farms and have pet lambs, chickens, pigs, ducks, and cows. Pets are cute because they are furry and fluffy like candifloss. They are cute when they are little. I like dogs and cats because they give you lots of love. Pets are fun to play with. You can throw the ball to your dog and she will fetch the ball and bring it back. You can play with cats with cat toys. Pets give you lots of love. They give you lots of cuddles and snuggle up to you. Pets help you feel good about yourself and when you are sad they give you lots of love. I think everyone should have a pet as they give you lots of love and make you feel good.
