Creating a Game

This week, to end our procedure writing topic, we have been creating our own game. I made a board game. My theme was Bugs and Ladders.

 You have to shake a dice and move your counter that amount of spaces. If you land on a ladder you move up and when you land on a snake you need to go down. The first person to get to the finish is the winner.

For maths we have been working on our basic facts. Everyday we do a maths grid of Basic Facts.

 We have been learning to write a procedure. I know a procedure has to have materials and steps. My steps have to be in order.

We have been leaning  to solve addition and subtraction problems using counting on and back.  We had to complete these problems using this strategy. I feel happy.
